IBD Medical is pleased to announce that Warren Bingham has joined IBD Medical's Advisory Board.

Warren is the Founder and Executive Chairman of MedTech International, CEO of BioAnalytics Holdings, Non-Executive Director of EndoGene, Chairman of SchoolAid, Chairman of ('Australia's most diverse Board') The Macquarie University Global MBA Advisory Board, Adjunct Fellow - Macquarie University, Department of Management in the Faculty of Business and Economics, Non Executive Director of Lenexa Medical, Board Member of Research Australia, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Saiiv Medical, Ambassador for The Vinnies CEO Sleepout and Ambassador for Diabetes Australia NSW and ACT.

With more than 30 years of proven success in the Medical Devices sector, Warren specialises in leading organisations with innovative and disruptive medical device and Digital Health technologies with their global strategic execution, commercialisation and Board fulfilment. He also contributes extensively in the For Purpose / NFP sector, providing strategic advice, board and ambassadorship, and hands on volunteering for multiple organisations.

In 2001, Warren established the Australian subsidiary of Given Imaging Ltd, a company who revolutionised and pioneered PillCam® technology, an ingestible pill-sized camera to visualise the GI tract in a non-invasive, cost effective, safe and patient friendly manner. In 2004, he successfully established Capsule Endoscopy on the Medicare Benefits Scheme.

Whilst serving on the global management team from 2000, the company grew from a start-up to a multinational, publicly traded company with revenues exceeding $250 million in 2013. In February 2014, Covidien acquired Given Imaging for approx. $1 Billion.

Warren’s significant contributions have been recognised; he was a finalist in the 2016 Australian Institute of Managements 'Excellence in Leadership Awards’, and in 2018 was acknowledged by Australia's Peak Life Science Industry Organisation AusBiotech for his ‘Outstanding Contribution to AusMedtech’,
