A tip to improve T1D management

 T1D Management

Here’s my tip for improving your t1d management…

Learn from every experience! Literally every high or low is teaching you something.

My clients tend to get upset with themselves during the period working with me.

As part of the detailed work we do together on their goals, we take a close look at insulin settings and how we can make changes to improve on overall time in range. During this testing period, my clients often feel like they’ve ‘failed’ when the tests show that they go high or low at various times of the day... BUT THIS IS A FALSE BELIEF!

You have NOT failed if you go low or high.

But it IS teaching you something.

So pay close attention next time you have a ‘random’ hypo or high... what is it trying to teach you?
