      Glucology cooling pouches are designed to maintain your insulin pens at safe temperatures (below 28˚C) for up to 36 hours, offering optimal protection from hot ambient temperatures. Activated with just cold water, this diabetes cooling pouch does not require batteries or ice packs, making it perfect for reuse. Lightweight and compact, it can be carried in any bag, making it a great companion for diabetes management on the go. Available in different sizes and colors for convenience.

      Storage and Dimensions

      5 x insulin injection pens - either pre-filled or refillable pens (not incl.); or
      15 x 3ml or 1.5ml cartridges (not incl.); or
      6 x 10ml vials of insulin and syringes (not incl.).
      In the outer pocket, you can fit swabs, lancets, strips, etc

      Dimensions of the Inner Pouch:

      185mm (Long) x 143mm (Wide)

      What's included:

      Outer cover; and Inner pouch made up of panels containing crystals (non-toxic and non-flammable). Also included is a convenient carry strap.

      How to Use
      1. Immerse the Glucology Pen Pouch’s inner crystal pouch in cold water for 12 minutes to activate.
      2. Ensure even distribution of crystals inside the pouch while it soaks.
      3. After soaking, remove the pouch from the water and drain on a flat surface for 5 minutes.
      4. Dry the cooler bag gently with tissues or a towel.
      5. Place the medication in the cooler bag along with the activated pouch. Re-immerse every 36 hours or when the gel starts turning back to crystals for optimal insulin storage.
      6. For continuous use, a 2-3 minute water immersion will be enough. If not in use, keep the Glucology Pen Pouch in a dry place.
      Care Instructions

      To maintain optimal insulin storage for diabetes management, remove the inner pouch with cooling gel from the outer cover when not in use and let it dry naturally until the gel solidifies back into crystals. Gently shake the pouch during this period to keep the crystals from sticking together. Drying can take between 2-4 weeks, depending on the size of the pouch and climate conditions, ensuring the pouch is ready for the next use.

      Please Note: Pens must be at the manufacturer's recommended temperature before being placed in the Glucology Cooler Bags. Please check the manufacturer's information inserts for your specific medication.

      I’m thrilled with this product which in my case was NOT purchased for insulin but for travel sickness medication. It is dispensed in 10ml syringes and I can fit 5 , side by side , in this tasteful little cold pack .

      Doesn't work

      Doesn't work, didn't keep insulin cool, pouch left sticky residue all over insulin pen. If I could rate this a zero I would. Don't waste your money.

      Cooler wallets

      Ordered 1 small and 1 large - received 2 small plus a packet of Glucose chews. Will use on next travel so can’t report on efficiency.

      Not cold enough

      Bought for overseas trip but was far too small and far too warm for insulin. Had to go to plan b and take a last minute cooler bag with ice bricks. Will look for another alternative. Also thermometer reader has dropped from 100% charge to 50% in less than 24 hours and keeps dropping connection from app. Supposed to last 12 months… massive waste of money for what we required it for.

      Very unhappy with the cooling wallet

      Unfortunately i have not been at all happy with this product. It seems to stay as a gel form all the time and does not stay cool. Luckily it was ok for the flight to NZ but while travelling around I have had to revert to ice packs and a cooler bag to keep my medication from getting hot as I am not game to use the gel pack after the finding it wasn’t cool after the last attempt using it. Very disappointed!
