When not in use, remove the inner pouch containing the cooling gel from the outer cover and let it dry naturally until the gel returns to its crystal form. To ensure the gel crystals stay separate and maintain their effectiveness, gently shake the pouch while it dries. The drying time may vary between 2-4 weeks, depending on the size of the cooling pouch and the climate conditions. This process is crucial for maintaining optimal insulin storage conditions for effective diabetes management.
