How to Use Your Lancing Device

Setup (First Time)

1. Wash your hands – Clean, dry hands help with hygiene and accurate readings

2. Open the device – Twist off the top

3. Insert lancet – Place new lancet into holder and push down firmly until it clicks

4. Replace protective cap – Keep the lancet tip protected until ready to use

5. Replace the top – Twist back on to secure

Before Each Test

1. Choose your depth – Rotate to your preferred setting (1-9)

2. Load the device – Pull the launcher handle back to load

3. Select test site – Use fingertip, side of finger, or alternate sites

4. Position firmly – Place device flat against skin
