What are your go-to protein snacks?

Andi answers a listener question about her current favourite protein snacks ( also listed them for you).

"It's really important to have high-protein snack options in mind and at hand, because we are all so busy and on the go, and protein is lacking from most of our diets. Most convenient snack options are low in protein and high in unhealthy fats and carbs. You can start to change up your diet with some of the options below or it might just give you some inspo!"

 

 

 

Andi's Favourite Protein Snacks

1. edamame - frozen

2. edamame - roasted/salted

3. boiled eggs

4. jerky or biltong

5. broad beans (aka fava beans) - roasted/salted

6. salted roasted chickpeas

7. cottage cheese

8. high protein greek or flavoured yoghurt like yopro, yopro perform or chobani fit

9. a protein shake favourite protein

10. adding collagen to my hot drinks to make a hot chocolate or protein coffee/latte favourite collagen

11. canned tuna best tuna

12. deli ham, roast turkey, roast pork or chicken

13. making my own protein balls/brownies/cookies other treats
