10 Years of Glucology: A Thank You to the Diabetes Community

From a Glebe apartment to a global community

Ten years ago, Glucology didn't start in an office. It started in my small apartment in Glebe, Sydney.

There was no big office, no huge team and no elaborate plan. There was simply a belief that people managing diabetes every day deserved products designed for real life, not just a diagnosis. That idea became Glucology.

The resilience it takes to turn what could be an ordinary day into something you have to actively manage, again and again, without it ever really stopping — that's not nothing. That's real strength. So from someone who's spent a decade watching it up close: you rock, and I mean that properly.

Our community is what keeps us going

What actually gets me out of bed is hearing from you. It doesn't matter if you found us online, through a pharmacy, or through one of our industry partners — when someone tells us a product made their daily diabetes management even a little easier, that's what makes the hard moments of running a small, privately owned business worth it. That feedback is fuel. It always has been.

Building this brand from a Glebe apartment to a global one is a real moment of pride for me — and it belongs to this community as much as it does to the Glucology team. You made it possible.
