Our Sharps Bin is designed to safely hold sharps disposal, as well as other disposable diabetic supplies including sharps, lancets, glucose strips etc.

It is designed to be universal, fitting all needles WITHOUT their plastic covering. Our sharps bin can fit up to 25 needle tips, plus used lancets and test strips. 

When disposing of pen needles, ensure there is no plastic cover. To use, directly twist off the needle from the pen, or slide the pen into our locking compartment then twist the pen to release the needle.

No, it is a permanent lock for safe disposal.

It can be locked fully once full by sliding the lid all the way to the top, clicking it into place. 

There are safe and accessible options to dispose of your sharps in your local community including:

• Public hospitals
• Participating pharmacies
• Community sharps disposal bins.

Do NOT dispose of your sharps in the bin

Our Sharps Bin is designed to lock when full so contents can be disposed off safely. Therefore, they are NOT re-usable. Once full, the lid on the bin can be slid all the way up, permanently locking the bin so contents cannot spill out while travelling or on the move. Once ready, the whole bin can then be disposed of safely.
